Hi, I’m Lowela – welcome to The Skin Garage, a little clinic at the end of my garden.

Here, I offer injectables, cosmetic dermatology, and skin treatments designed to refresh, rejuvenate, and bring out your natural glow.

My Journey

My passion for aesthetics began with my own skin journey. Like many, I began noticing fine lines, wrinkles, and melasma—and it affected how I felt about myself. After seeking treatment, I discovered the powerful impact of restoring confidence in myself. That transformation inspired me to help others feel the same: confident, radiant, and truly comfortable in their own skin.

My Background

I’m a nurse by profession and earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Silliman University in Dumaguete, Philippines. After qualifying, I worked in operating theatres before moving to the UK in 2010 where I joined a Cardiothoracic Theatre and later, advanced my career as a Surgical Care Practitioner. During this time, I completed a Master's degree in Surgical Care Practice, gaining expertise in vein harvesting and surgical techniques amongst others. I am also an Independent Nurse Prescriber, and as such I uphold the highest standards of care, safety, and clinical expertise in every treatment and recommendation I provide—ensuring you feel confident, informed, and well cared for at every step.

Wanting to expand my skills further, I pursued a Level 7 in Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetic Dermatology at Harley Academy - the UK's first higher education training institute in aesthetic medicine. My training included an intensive clinical placement, where I honed my practice in delivering safe, effective and tailored treatments. Today, I run my own clinic, helping individuals achieve their personal skin and rejuvenation goals.

This strong medical foundation allows me to combine safety, precision, and artistry in every treatment I provide--ensuring results that look natural and help you feel your very best.  

Beyond the Clinic

Outside of work, I’m a wife, a proud mum of two, and a passionate baker and cake artist. Whether I’m in the clinic or the kitchen, I love creating things that bring joy, confidence, and a sense of well-being to others.
